donnie darko is my favoritest movie of all time, in case anyone were curious (and why wouldn't you be? i'm an interesting person!).

i don't know which "huge bunny with the metal face" you're talking about, unless you mean frank, in which case the answer to your question is "he's one of the main characters of the film."

btw, if you happen to possess the DVD of the movie (or even if you have to rent it), watch it with the Kelly/Gyllenhaal commentary. it's really helpful.

Goddamn I love that movie. What initially attracted me to that movie was the crazy bunny face. I thought it was quite possibly the coolest rendering of a rabbit I have ever seen. But the movie turned out to be freakishly brilliant. So much so that I quivered like a woodland rodent for several days afterwards in sheer awe of the genius.

And if you are one of those guys who are into special effects just wait till the end of the movie, it's like he bounces back and forth on a diving board many times or somthing. Popcorntastic.
Only surpassed by that movie with the rich kids and the poor kids at college., you know the one I am talking about, it's where they have to race down river rapids at the end.
