Yes he said "macs just shut down for no reason" and yes of course pcs never do that, and rebuilding system files in DOS is oh so easy (he has a lot of practice from having to do it a lot). Then he was all "using a Macintosh makes my penis small" and I know for a fact my penis was very small already before I began using a mac.

But I must admit, I've never seen a PC get posessed by evil spirits and refuse to shut down when you press the power button like a mac can.

Okay, so you have to HOLD the power button to make it shut off... but it's still a bizzare experience.

Personally, I think the movie was written by PC prefering students who are being forced into using all Macs all the time for their projects.

Try any lower-end Dell PC, Drexle. You've got to hold the power button down to turn the fucker off when it won't shut off on its own.

I have a Dell pc at work that does that about once every two weeks. Notwithstanding, I still don't care for Macs.

My PC you have to hold the power button down as well. I believe the whole theory behind that is in case you accidentally hit the button, you don't turn your computer off.

It's ok - I freely admit that I'd doubtless find it just as funny if it were about PCs - the drop-kick moment is what made it for me, since I have had the same desire to do that to my own PC from time to time...

Yar the macs... they be a scurvy mistress...

Personally, I like using macs, because if one program freezes up you can force quit it, but with Windows you have to turn the computer off.

I agree though -- the only funny thing was the drop kick.

I think, therefore I make comments on a forum.

Don't use a Gateway...every time we put a CD in the drive it acts like it's going to take off, and then our fan sounds like a jet engine or something. AND it freezes at least once a week.

With 2000 and XP, you can just bring up the Task Manager and close whichever program has frozen. I rarely ever have to turn off the computer because of freezes in XP, and in 2000 I have never had to.

Back in '98, we had to Ctrl/Alt/Delete and then choose End Task to quit an ornery program. Some times it worked; some times it didn't. Dagnabit!
