You know, I can maybe understand why some people don't vote. Some people. A small percentage, maybe. But I am astounded that in this day and age a voter turnout of over 50% is considered very good.

Do people just not give a fuck?

Al Gore had a good Get Out The Vote line this campaign: "Anyone who thinks their vote doesn't count should talk to me."
