You would have sent it to Brad, not to me. He showed me a snowman, though. Don't know if it was yours, but it looked very good in the frame. I have a few different backgrounds in mind, including a beach, a living room, a car (if possible), and yeah, a snowscape. I'll try to get them done in the next day or two.

Oh, and how about a solid yellow background. We already have a solid white and solid black it wouldn't be very hard to just make a bunch of one color solid backgrounds.

I thought about solid-coloured backgrounds apart from black and white, but I couldn't think of anything they would be useful for. Incidentally, if I do a sandy beach, there will be no indication as to where it is, so if you call it a desert island in the strip, I am sure the illusion will be remarkable. Incidentally, I spent a small number of second throwing a snowy backdrop together. Here 'tis...

Actually, different colored backgrounds (or as we call them "backgrounds of color") like the diesel one would be useful as very basic "room" settings. Sometimes I just need a different indoor color to designate that one panel is taking place someplace other than the previous panel. My Tobor Goes Christmas Shopping series is an example. I had to settle on wall1 to represent the mall hallways so that I wouldn't use up the indoor settings that represent stores.

This probably goes back to the small number of indoor settings, but a few plain backgrounds would be a quick, low-bandwidth way around this.

{2cents}The thing I'd say about making rooms is it would be cool to add some furniture to the background. A couch in the living room, a bed in the bedroom, refrigerator and sink in the kitchen, toilet and mirror in the bathroom, etc. I think this would add a lot to the indoor backgrounds.{/2cents}

Obi, that was precisely what I had planned to do - a few simple bits of furniture in the background to show what room it is.

I also have these things planned: Donald WcRonald (an evil version of a certain fast food mascot you may have heard of); a fast food restaurant background (with the previous' rounded-W logos around); some kind of car background, though I am still not sure it can be done; some kind of garden; and a laundromat, as I mentiond.
