Early Grey is pretty yucky. My current favourites are both Twinings "flavours" - Finest Ceylon and Traditional Afternoon. I also quite like English and Irish Breakfast, Yunnan, Russian Caravan... all my favourites are Twinings varieties.

I used to buy a great little indy brand called Nerada. It was Aussie owned and all the leaves were Aussie grown. Less than six months after its launch, it was 100% Malaysian owned. :(

Traditional Afternoon and English Breakfast are great teas, never tried Irish Breakfast.

Have any of the Scottish forum regulars (or non-regulars, strippers, newbies and trolls) been to that strange tea shop beside Kelvin Bridge? It's called Tchaiwai or something as weird, I think it's run by hippies and they sell the weirdest teas and let you smoke them in bongs, it's funky, but usually full of art students.

I'm a rather large fan of Sweet Chai actually... but if it's real tea I'm after I'm a sucker for Darjeeling and Jasmine. I suppose I'm spoiled, one of my best friends owns a coffee shop.

Darjeeling's nice when you want a really mild tea. I usually want something a bit stronger, like a breakfast tea, though not as strong as Lapsang Souchong, which I find abhorrent. It tastes like a bushfire.
