This guy I used to play hockey with in high school got drafted by the Red Wings. Never got offered a contract and ended up playing a few seasons for the Louisiana Ice Gators in the ECHL.

Ummm, I went to the same high school as the original drummer for the Goo Goo Dolls, who got fired just before they made it big.
