Question: I got 7 votes to Flickguy's 3- had all the others voted, we very well might have tied. Are winners decided by the most votes, even if not a majority, within a 24 hour time period? Just curious.

I am trying to stick with a roughly 24-hour voting period to keep things moving. Unless the votes are close, I'll also generally end the voting as soon as someone reaches 7 votes. So far, we haven't had a match where I thought I would go against the 7 votes already cast should it eventually get to a tie-breaker situation, so I have just ended the voting there. If the 24 hours are up and the voting is still close, I might be more inclined to wait a while and see what happens. I would prefer that all votes could be counted, but if I waited until everyone got around to voting this cup would last for months.

I'm not going to be able to post a strip by the deadline. Might I be so bold as to request an extension of, say, five hours? I know the beginning of the weekend isn't a good time to ask for it.
