Excellent, but I still have to go with FuzzyWuzzy, he made the better comic.

Stick that in your "voting alliance" pipe and smoke it, Andy, ya wank!
Voting alliances?

Survivor starts up again this week. Thanks for reminding me!

Both strips overused Nadsat to the point of seriously impairing comprehension. Alex used it a lot more sparingly in A Clockwork Orange. So neither strip made very good use of the rule. However, even in translations, I didn't find fuzzyman's strip funny. Crabby gets my vote mainly for writing a Nadsat version of his usual catch phrase.

Now that fpd has voted, I have to say that the nasdat rule is the single most difficult one I've encountered in any contest. Damn, that was evil! :-)

As for DH-01's rule... I'm just glad that Crabby and I were both able to avoid a Cowboy Physics parody.

Apparently Bazilla's is a beast of a rule.

I think it worked so well, with the nadsat, the forced silence as if "what that fuck?".

If they work with the rule properly then yes, but knowing Wirthling he'll come up with a zany way to bend it easily.

Your rule was "Someone must speak in Nadsat, the teen slang from A Clockwork Orange." It doesn't say anything about using Nadsat sparingly. Perhaps the rule should have been phrased differently if you had something else in mind.

I was waiting for KKP to vote. Plus I'm a touch lazy.

But very well.

Winner of Round 2, Match 1: Fozzie

Round 2, Match 2

He's big...he's evil...he's BIG EVIL DAN, and he's up against ladyjdotcom's less valuable cousin.

Follow up "The Horror!".

The rules, provided by Glaswegians, though you'd never guess it:

Kajun Firefly: One of the characters discovers they are homosexual.

Kevin Keegans Perm: Your comic must contain the phrase "Haw Big Yin. Gonnae gie us a tap till Giro day".
Actually, since I'm larger than the other LadyJ, my biological and/or chemical components would probably bring in a few more cents than hers.

Say, Andy, out of curiosity...

In round 3 will I be up against the winner of "Big Evil Dan vs. Ladyjdotnet" (as in the current seeding) or "wirthling vs kramer_vs_kramer" (as in the original seeding)?

Not that it matters, as no matter who wins those matches, I have The Fear.

My previous , and very clean shaven vote , would have gone to CRABBY anyway.

And you edited the rule. It should have said "The strip must contain the phrase "Gonnae gie us a tap tae Giro day" , and MUST be relevant to the story".

Ach well. Seems some weegies just cannae dae anything right.
