I just had a thought you SCUNTers may want to consider.

Holding some of your pics in reserve and not 'blowing your wad', so to speak, may be a good tactical move.

Say the max number of points you can get is 150, and the first weekend you go out and bag yourself 140. If you sent all those in, I'd plunk them up on the website for everyone to see.

Now Team Assmuncher sees what you've managed to do, and know they can only win if they beat your score. So now they kick it into overdrive. They actually manage to get 145.

But they only send in maybe 80 of their points. You see that they've made a strong showing, but you're not too worried because you're so far out in front.

Then right at the end of the contest, they send in the pic they took of the president sitting in the oval office with the Stripcreator sign, and you realize they have you beaten. But there's no time for you to do anything.

So heed the warning, and decided how much of your hand you want to show to others! (But show a little something, so it looks like this isn't a giant waste of time!)

Here are some prize updates... To begin with, I'm gonna give prizes to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. Those will be $30, $20 and $10 gift certificates respectively. You have to have a minimum of 125 points. You should be able to get that many points without even hitting all 10 pictures and without doing anything really weird or embarrassing. This is to make sure that if only a couple serious people enter, some yahoo doesn't run out, take a picture of a statue and then get 3rd place with 5 points.

Also consider this scenario: One team rocks the Casbah and gets max points for all their pictures. That would get them first place, but if no one else takes a serious run at it, they might decide to split their pics in half and enter each under a separate team name and end up with both first AND second place.

So we've still got more than two weeks left! Don't let one team steal all the glory!
