Kangaroo meat is very tasty, and is almost fat-free. It is probably the healthiest meat you could possibly eat. Oh, and did I mention it's yummy?

Put kangaroo into stroganoff, stir fry, satay... works very well with Asian sauces and spices.

Oh, it's certainly legal, but most butchers and supermarkets consider it to be somewhat distasteful, and won't put it on the shelf for fear of nauseating their clientele. Bloody stupid... as I keep telling my squeamish friends - a kangaroo is just a short-haired sheep that jumps.

I was under the impression that all mammals could catch Creutzfeld-Jakob Disease (spelling?) so I assume kangaroos can get it. I know from The (X) Files that humans can get it.

In real life, they make no sounds at all that I am aware of (apart from a distinct thump thump thump when they jump) but Skippy sounds like he is constantly telling everyone off.

tch = in linguistic terms, an alveolar click, inhaling. Put your tongue just behind your teeth, and suck in some air so your tongue goes "click". It's the traditional disapproving sound.
