Really, folks, windows has been pissing me off lately with the file sharing on their new OSs. Everyone knows it's counter-intuitive, and everyone knows that this makes you have to go pay tribute to the MCSE oracles and buy Manhattan Yellow Pages-sized tomes in order to understand what should be very straightforward stuff, at least for someone who's been managing websites ever since the web's been around. The only reason they do this is to make more money, and the only reason they can is because they have a lock on the market. That pisses me off, and it pisses a lot of people off, and it makes us want to look around for a competitor. The fact that we haven't found one testifies to just how strong MS's position is.

yeah, I know. I was hoping no one would bring that up and ruin my point. :( hehehe Netscape does really suck now, much harder than IE, which I find sad.

I've learned CSS the same way as you, off of W3.org. It drives me batty when things don't work as they should.

My WinME box crashes several times daily. You don't need any "profesional experiance" to realise that this is a rushed-out piece of bloatware. If we can't say a word against anything in a particular field without being intimately familiar with that field, then we're pretty limited in what we can criticise. Ever made a film? No? Well, then, don't tell me Pearl Harbor sucks.

I still think the response was over the top dougan.
