Hey guys. Remember the 80s-early 90s? Vague recollections of events that happened way back then? Me too! You know what the best part of the 80s-early 90s was for me? Making mix tapes. That's right,I said it, tapes. Not CDs, no, no, this was a little more tedious and you couldn't just hit a button, you had to hit multiple buttons. Stop-start-stop-pause. Good times.

Not to thrust myself on to this swap thing (I've never actually done one for reasons that will be obvious in a sentence or two) and definitely don't want to step on our lovely little kitty's paws, but I don't have a CD burner and would like to play too. Would anyone be interested in doing a tape swap? If not this one (sounds like some of you already have your bit planned out) mayhaps the next one. I'm trying not to highjack the thread but I thought I'd put the suggestion out there.

I still to this day make tapes because I'm too poor to get a CD player for the car.

Well, at least [u]I used to[/u] before my stereo blew up a month and a half ago. There was a flash of green light eminating from the back of it, and then...nothing. Very Spinal Tap-esque. Kinda cool actually, except for the "I have no stereo now! FUCK!" part.

If I manage to scrounge up enough money for a new one before the trading starts, I'd love to join in on this.
