Yes, I realize this was a hard contest. I was interested who would rise to the challenge.

I see most people chose to avoid this rule. Unfortunately, none of the non-compliant strips were really side-splittingly funny enough to make me want to ignore it, although there were some good ones.

Some of the non-compliant strips I liked were

Bargaintuan: "A Letter from Satan"
boinky33: "something you wouldn't want to see out your window"
boinky33: "Don't stare at boobies too long or......"
boinky33: "UNDER WATER COWBOYS"
shlimple: "Old man and bench"
shlimple: "explode"
Kajun Firefly: "Monopoly"
Zegota: "Staring Contest"

And yes, boinky, I did recognize that "!!!!!......!!!!!!......!!!!!!!" is ripped off from "CCIX # 5"

Bargaintuan: I did a comic just like "Just Drink, Already!". We actually started a thread in RMDC where people expanded on the idea here.

There were six compliant entries that I considered for winning, and they were:

"Speechless" by Big Evil Dan
"Department of Haiku Security" by kaufman
"Hell's Work: vr 0000006 for cc 176" by LordVido

The last three were really hard to decide on, since they were all really good.

Sorry, but I generally ignore any rule that tells me to say a certain word, I just feel it subtracts from the comedy of the comic if I have to say "my anus is bleeding" or something similar.
