I think I liked the simplicity of of Rabid's strips. You had a lot of unrelated elements (the twig joke, etc.) that confused me and slowed down the journey to the punchline. They were ultimately very good, just difficult for my feeble mind to comprehend on the first read. But I shouldn't need to read it a second time to get it, so....
