But, but.... you're too skinny to be Jerrod. Or is it just a requirement to live in Indy to list those movies among your favorites?

Office Space is a weird one, it's a fantastic film, and everyone in the US seems to love it, yet it's pretty much unheard of over here.

1/2. Where are you from?

Bristol, England

1. What are you reading right now?

i tend not to read books. it took me a year and a half to decide i was gonna give up on 'moving pictures' by terry pratchett. i just dont do it well. i tend to devote the time i would waste with reading with filming things, kinda like the american beauty kid only less weird and without a gay dad..... i hope

2. What are you listening to now/ what was the last CD you bought?

listening to alot of unkle, eels, adam f and finch

3. What did you study in school/ are you studying in school?

currently studying film and television studies in aberystwyth. silly really as i was good at the sciences and maths at a level but media interested me more and film was my strongest area in it

4. Who would play you in the movie of your life and who would play your love interest?

john cusack. that man is a god and just plays all the parts that really appeal to me in films. i guess love interest would be camron diaz. that choice is made sweeter by the quirky on screen relationship they could develop after being john malkovic. really fits well

5. Have you got any pets?

2 cats, danny and daisy. they were born on d-day at the sanctuary and those were the names they were given

6. Where would you like to visit that you haven't yet?

southern states. ive done the north eastern states and cant be arsed with the pacific whatever. like california and shit. aint got no taste for the exotic, just the slightly different

7. How'd you get to this site?

used to frequent hairytongue.com and they made a few comics here. their profile probably still exists

8. What was your first band you saw live?

was a 4 way thing. went mainly to see les rhythms digital but it also had campag velocet (they disappeared fast), someone else and the opening band was a complete unknown at the time called coldplay. blew me the fuck away they did and from that point on managed to lose themselves in my opinion. saw them live a second time somtime ago and they were nowhere near as exciting as they were when there were 5 people who had turned up early to 'give them a try'

9. What do you want to be when you grow up?

producing entertainment tv in uk or being the big cheese on monday night football in us. thatd kick me in the balls nicely

10. If you were on death row, what would be your last
meal?

my old mans fish curry. gives you the horn and id die with a hard-on

11. What's the origin of your screen name?

nickname roundabouts my hometown. i went thru a phase of not dressing properly or just picking shit up that shoulda been checked out to the charity stores. i had bad skin, red spot marks on my elbow pits and bags under my eyes as i was suffering from insomnia. i also had an umkempt bowl of a haircut. in short i looked like a heroin addict or 'scag-head'. i felt spelling it s-k-a-g-g made it less drug related. i later found out its finnish for beard. cool huh?

cant be arsed to locate the other q's that have cropped up so those will do

I beleive it's a requirement as part of the charter for the City of Indianapolis. What, you weren't informed of this when you moved here? Our Brainwashing Team has obviously been slacking lately.

Now just to figure out if that was a thinly veiled insult or not. hehe

Absinthe. Things I observe and events from my life. Trying to be originally funny. Reading other people's comics. Reading other people's comics and then accidentally ripping them off. Parodies of TV shows. More absinthe.

M

No thanks. That's for squaddies and andydougan

Trading Places. I must have watched that a hundred times as a kid.

Live? Daniel Kitson. He looks like a paedophile but has some of the best observed and outright funniest stories ever. Second and third place would be David Baddiel and Richard Pryor, but I've not seen them live.

I really like that disc. Sick Friend Called is probably one of my favorite obscure indierock tunes of the mid 90s. Too bad about everything they've done since that EP.

Now Sloan... there's a rock group. :)

I have also enjoyed Spoon. Girls Can Tell is a great album.

For Sloan, some of their hits are Money City Maniacs and If It Feels Good Do It.

1. What are you reading right now?
Stripcreator Message Forums -- okay, seriously, working on the X-Men 2 novelization.

2. What are you listening to now/ what was the last CD you bought?
LaunchCAST -- last CD I bought was Chicago soundtrack.

3. What did you study in school/ are you studying in school?
Music -- but I didn't graduate. Too many "regular course" classes.

4. Who would play you in the movie of your life and who would play your love interest?
Someone butt-ugly, and no one. I have no love interest.

5. Have you got any pets?
No.

6. Where would you like to visit that you haven't yet?
Reality. I hear it's nice this time of year.

7. How'd you get to this site?
I think it was a Site-of-the-day in a now-defunct newsletter I used to read.

8. What was your first band you saw live?
I think it was Moe Bandy... Might've been Donna Fargo, though. The first concert I saw that I wanted to was Reba!

9. What do you want to be when you grow up?
Independently wealthy.

10. If you were on death row, what would be your last meal?
Something messy, so that when I vomited in my death throes, they'd have a bastard of a time cleaning it up.

11. What's the origin of your screen name?
Being of the male gender and really really liking movies, I figured it was the only logical name.

12. The best concert i've been too:
Reba McEntire in The Singer's Diary. It rocked my world.

13. References from childhood:
TransFormers, Atari 2600 (now THOSE were state-of-the-art graphics!), G.I.Joe, Dungeond & Dragons, Return of the Jedi, Styx, Thundarr the Barbarian, Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends

I can get away with Large, but I prefer XL.

16. Want to play the bisquit game?
I'll never be that drunk.

17. Favorite movie?
Simon Birch -- Yeah, I'm a softy.

18. Favorite Comedian
I waver. I'm really liking a lot of Steve Martin's older stuff lately, but I'd still have to say Bill Engvall.
