Two things... first, if you're going to belong to a church, it's a good idea to know how to spell it. Second, last I checked, Pentecostals were fundies. Quick test: Does your denomination of Christianity teach that every word of the Bible is literal truth, the the Earth was literally created by God in seven days, and that the Earth is around eight thousand years old, give or take a millennium or so? [Tick YES or NO.] Do you personally believe the things set out above? [Tick YES or NO.]
Check your answers here...
YES, YES - You are a fundie in a fundie church.
YES, NO - Your church is fundie, but you aren't... change churches.
NO, YES - You are fundie... what the hell are you doing in a non-fundie church?
NO, NO - You are not a fundie, and your church isn't either, so stop being annoying.
Actually, that last bit is mean. One of my best friends, the best man at my wedding, is a devout Baptist, and we get on just fine. He gives advice, I ignore it, I swear, he blushes and ignores it... we are friends, and we have a lot in common. He is as fundie as they come, but he tends to agree with my view on Creation: God made it, all Christians agree with that, so who really cares how he did it? We believe in the same God, but we deal with our belief in different ways... and the world keeps turning.
