Why do movie reviewers review movies? Usually to get people to watch them.

My problem, of course, is that I live in the middle of the sticks, the nearest Blockbuster is a half-hour drive from my house, and so I have no chance anymore of scoring 9/10 of the movies Biped reviews, which really sucks, because if "Porfle Vs. _____" was a newsletter, I'd probably subscribe to it.
