I was playing my domain-name game tonight, which consists of plugging in various names.com, just to see what comes up. I hit gold on my first try when I visited nork.com.

At first I was just browsing through some mundane pictures, until I noticed one of the topic headings labeled Grandma's Passing. I wondered if that could be what I assumed it was so I took a look.

Sure enough, it was. Which prompted some questions, due to the fact that I've never been to a funeral.

1) Is it normal for people to be so happy? There's a hell of a lot more smiling going on than I would have imagined.

2) Is it normal for a person to take this many pictures at a funeral?

3) Is it normal to take a photo of your dead grandmother and then post it on your website?

1) In many cultures, the funeral becomes a true celebration of the life of the departed. Exchanging fond memories can't help to bring up smiles among the grieving.

2) I don't think so, but ...

3) You can find most anything on the Internet. I think it's safe to say that if photos of dead relatives didn't exist on-line, man would have to invent it.
