Allow me to recap my day for you...

This morning, I take my shower and notice that cold water was leaking from under the tub... something that I spent a week with a friend of mine trying to stop from happening ever again in the month of November. I thought "Oh well, shit happens I guess." And began to wonder just how long I could procrastinate about getting it fixed. So then I get in my car and head to school...

On my way to school, one of my tires blows out. See, I picked up a nail over the weekend and since the leak was really slow, I didn't notice it until I'd driven about 20 miles on the tire. I got the leak plugged, but unfortunately the tire itself was too damaged to hold up... so I put the donut on the car and think to myself "Well, I'll just pick up the refund from the class I dropped and pay for a new tire with that."

I get to school, and go to the cashier and guess what, they don't have my check. This means I'll have to withdraw more money from the bank this month and incur a freakin' penalty because I've gone over my monthly limit... so I give my mom a call to ask if I can borrow some money until next month... and when she answers the phone, she sounds very sad. My grandmother (her mother) was going into surgery today to remove an growth in her eye... and she died during the administration of the anestisia.

I need a hug.

I always get upset when I hear about people dying during the administration of anestisia, becuase it just doesn't make sense. It's always sad to lose anyone anyway though. The last person I knew that died was this guy that was a powerline worker who was coming to church a bit. He was a nice guy, origionaly lived in Canada and had his own family up there, but was working down here on a job. One day, while he was working on the lines, he got electricuted. Was suposed to be a normal day, but...

He was also going to come to our thanksgiving diner.
Needless to say, we were confused and upset about it all, but definatly not more so than his family. We called them several times and talked about what was going on.

Er... anyway, I guess im tryin to say, he wasn't my grandmother or anything, just another person, but people die. And the living suffer. It's getting over it thats living.

There's nothing worse than having every single thing go wrong for you all at the same time. One problem sucks and two is awful but three that's just wrong and evil. Also the third being as sad as it is. I'm just sorry you had to go through it all in one day.

Just remember that eventually things will look up again.

there not much I can say Drex, everyone's already said it, I'm sorry for your shitty day and for your family's loss.

You have to treat days like that one as eye-openers, they wake you out of your normal "get up - go to work" routine and remind you that you still have a life to live, and yes, it is ending one crappy comic at a time.
