Whilst walking down a street close to where i live today i happened to pass a guy who appeared, at first glance, to be familiar.

As i got closer i realised that even wearing glasses he was still recognisable as a guy i "know" from another internet forum (i've seen his picture ... and i have a brilliant memory for faces).

So anyway what should i have done?

(1.) Ignored him.

(2.) Muttered his name under my breath as we passed (hoping for some kind of positive reaction).

(3.) Approached him openly.

I know what i did do (i.e. nothing) but what [/i]should[/i] i have done?

Bear in mind i can only remember his nick (although i did know his real name at one time).
