So, let's say that a certain individual is a member of an online community for well over a year, and contributes on a regular basis to conversations, competing in the contests, occasionally writing a comic, meeting them in person, etc...

Is she allowed to ask her online friends from this community to check out a catalogue of really great stuff she's selling for a limited time, the sale of which allows her to accumulate credit to get the same stuff for free? This stuff, by the way, kicks several kinds of ass.

Again, this is all hypothetical.

Hypothetically speaking, I would program my invisible robomonkey to rob banks so I could buy more really great stuff from catalogues. Then I would give all the really great stuff to Nicole Kidman and she'd fall helplessly in love with me, and then Nicole and I would make love on the International Space Station for several orbits, but then we'd wear ourselves out and realize that we didn't have much in common other than our animal lust so we'd break up, and then when I got back to earth my wife would say "I hope you had a good time with Nicole Kidman. You must be hungry. Here's an omelet."

Hypothetically speaking, of course.

Hypothetically, I'd say omelette is the preferred spelling.

Wow! She's right! Lara is selling stuff from the Pampered Chef catalog! I just bought $500 worth! Thanks for mentioning it, Jessica!
