No Abortion Example 1:
Fourteen year old girl has low self esteem, and is very depressed. She has a fifteen year old boyfriend, he's an asshole. Neither have parents that care about them. She's feeling vulnerable, he's feeling horny. The have unprotected sex. Girl gets pregnant. Girl has baby, nearly kills her. Girl drops out of school. Parents give no support. Boyfriend has dispeared since the day she missed her period. Baby is starving.

No Abortion Example 2:
Seventeen year old girl, in a good family with good friends and stable personality, has her life completely on-track. She get's raped while in the parking garage at the hospital she volunteers at on friday nights...and becomes pregnant with the raper's child.

First Ending to Example 1 of No Abortion:
Girl gets into drugs from depression. Girl whores herself for drug money. Baby dies of starvation. Girl is killed by a customer or pimp.

Second Ending to Example 1 of No Abortion:
Baby is starving. Girl can't take care of it. Girl panics, wraps the baby in a platic bag, and leaves it int he dumpster behind the theater.

Third Ending to Example 1 of No Abortion:
Girl and baby both survive through the Girl's teens on a mediocre diet. Girl is now 25 waitressing in the day, crying at night. Baby grows up in a family of one mother, who has low self esteem, emotional baggage, no education, and poor decision making habits. Baby grows up to mimic the life of her mother. Cycle repeats and continues for generations...

Both the girl's and the baby's lives are ruined.[/b]

An assumption I commonly make throughtout this post:
A terrible childhood, will lead to an unfortunate adult life. Is this always true? Certainly not. Is this almost always true? Certainly yes.

First Ending to Example 2 of no Abortion:
Girl's baby is born, shunned, and disowned by the family. Girl's baby grows up a bastard child, with no support, is depressed, and doomed to live an unsuccesfull life.

Second Ending to Example 2 of no Abortion:
Girl's baby is born a bastard child. Girl hates the baby for being the son of baby's father. The baby is treated terribly, and has an awful childhood, leading to an unsuccesful life.

What Both These Endings Have In Common:
The baby's life is ruined.

Ending to either Example of No Abortion:
Baby is put in a foster home. Baby lives a life worse than death. (Which is 99% the case with foster homes...read up on some...or talk to someone that's been in one).

Example of Abortion:
Fourteen year old girl has low self esteem, and is very depressed. She has a fifteen year old boyfriend, he's an asshole. Neither have parents that care about them. She's feeling vulnerable, he's feeling horny. The have unprotected sex. Girl gets pregnant. Boyfriend leaves ...Girl seeks a teen clinic. Girl is informed of her options, and the risks of abortion. Girl understands that it is MOST likely that babies are not aware of their existance in the first 3 months of pregnancy. Girl has an abortion. Girl stays in school. Girl get's help with her low self esteem and depression from councilors recamended by abortion clinic. Girl complete's her high school education and remain's unpregant. Girl continues in the education or profession of her dreams, and gets married and has chilren at the age she feels most apropriete post high school. Children live normal, happy lives.

Abortions are fun, but don't get them at Disneyworld (from the stall either in EPCOT just beyond Innovations East, before the future site of Mission: Space or in Animal Kingdom, just past It's Tough To Be a Bug on the way to DinoLand, U.S.A.). They're very pricey there. Heck, it's over two bucks for a churro!

Of course, there's always adoption.
