	why is b b king's guitar named lucille?


	back in 1947, in arkansas, b b was playing in some dive. the place was heated by a barrel of kerosine.


	two drunks were arguing over a woman named lucille. they knocked over the barrel, so the dive caught fire.


	b b ran back in to get his $30 hollow body gibson guitar.


	he named it lucille, to remind him to stay the heck out of arkansas.


	ever since then, his guitars have always been named lucille.
