I'd go on but it apears to be more "Your website does not look like a profesional site. That means you suck." Or, "Everyone else hates you, and since I have no real opinion in life, I won't either."

Being all defensive and whiny doesn't make us want to like you or your website any more. Also, pointing out every flaw in what we say while you have so many yourself, isn't a good way to win friends. Take my advice and just let it go. As for your website, not bad although I did have problems with broken links in the comic section. Anyway, I wish you the best of luck with your secret society and your website. Just try not to make too many enemies over some dumb misunderstanding.

Actually, I myself didn't authorize this advertisement. But when so many uninspired complaints come back it forced me to stick my head out. I'm sorry if some of those remarks offended some of you, but it is much more likely most of you are laughing and waiting for an admin to close this and ban us.

As for our site, we plan to get a little more profesional look over the summer. Most of the dead links are because were using www.no-ip.com redirect service, and it's messing with the url's for the images. Shouldn't be that hard to fix, something I need to look into soon.

I can't figure out what you do. Share links and fart around online with your friends from school or IRC or wherever the heck you all met? Check your website constantly for new hits?

Why does it always have to end with someone pointing out grammatical errors? It's petty and sad.

It's not so much about the grammar per se as it is the attitude of the attack. If someone is going to take things here far too personally and behave like a belligerent child, they should at least take the time to do so in a reasonably articulate fashion. When a riposte comes off like the squealing of an illiterate moron, it's impact is greatly reduced.

Fair enough. Perhaps it's just a matter of opinion, but I feel the form is part of the content. I try to make other points as well, the grammar thing is just one of them. I agree it's somewhat petty, but it's something of a pet issue with me. The more well-composed someone's response is, the more likely I am to take it seriously. For example, I took your comment as well as Kramer's more seriously than SecretSociety's for obvious reasons. You're right, being semi-literate is no accomplishment at all, which is why failing even that is so obnoxious.

But again, I understand it's a matter of personal preference. I generally try to stay away from the grammar thing because, if it is the only complaint, it is superficial. Had I no other points to make, I wouldn't have mentioned it at all. However, as I was taking a swing at him (her, them?) anyway, I figured I throw that one in as well.
