According to the rules, the zinger award is probably the most esteemed award. It means you have a great punchline, which is what this competition is about.

Life sends us troubles, and we deal with them. When squirrels send us troubles, we head for the hills.

Not sure if anyone will get the reference to House of Leaves. I haven't read the book myself, so this is only based on what I picked up from my sister constantly ranting about it.
