Using Mozilla 0.9.3 the pop-up menu choices in the 'create a comic' form show up as blanks with one empty choice. Very weird.

The whole site just doesn't like anything even vaguely Netscape related. I've stopped even trying.

I think I mentioned this somewhere else, but I've found that the site seems to display passably -- i.e., not crash your browser -- if you're using Opera. So if you have moral issues with MSIE, or if it hasn't been ported to your platform, you might want to look into Opera.

I'm no JavaScript expert, but it looks like the offending line is #335

function change_category(cat, char, dest) {

I think mozilla is getting confused thinking that 'char' is a type, not a variable name. If I change it to 'chr' on a downloaded version it seems to make it past this part (but it breaks elsewhere, probably because I don't have the rest of the infrastructure in place).

Hmm, I just downloaded Opera 5 for linux and no joy.

Same problem (except with prettier widgets).

Oh well. Guess I'm just SOL. ;-)

Yeah... I hadn't actually tried to use Opera to make a comic, just to view comics and forum pages. I get the same problem on the make page using Opera 5.11 on Windows. Don't know what else to suggest, then.
