The Cubs have resigned Free Agents NOMAR Garciaparra(SS) and Todd Walker (2nd Base). They did not file for arbitration with outfielder Moises Alou. Good Riddance to bad rubbish.

My favorite story of the day was Randy Johnson admitting publicly he would never play for the White Sox. I was getting tired of Sox fans even entertaining that thought. I also loved how the Sox couldn't even muster up enough cash to sign Omar Vizquel, yeah, big group of winners over there.

That team hasn't been to the playoffs to be able to make up excuses since 2000. And they haven't even won a playoff game since 93'. Sox fans are still balming the strike of 64' for costing them a world series even though they were only a game ahead of the Indians when the strike started. Oh and which owner was most influential in that strike? Thats right, Mr. Reinsdorf himself.
