Hard to believe, but this is an unretouched photo of the bluefish I caught on my first deep-sea fishing adventure ever. Notice the astonished onlooker in the background. That guy is well over 7 1/2 feet tall, so that should give you a sense of scale. This was on a party boat off the Jersey shore, and I found that the mercury content of my catch really enhanced the flavor.
