[/quote]Well, we switched hosts and that host didn't support that sort of insanity. The new one -- this one -- does, but I haven't put it back in.

There was also the issue that it doesn't work for people with older accounts with spaces in their names. I had been considering the idea of changing them all to have underscores, but then the hosting issues made the point moot. Now I will ponder it again, I suppose.

The best way I have found to do that is to tell them the site's basic URL, then tell them to go to a particular forum and read a thread of a particular name. Seems to work.
