Maybe do links in place of the middle of the series, which is what I plan to do (though it's probably a lot of work).

Well, the secret is to have the whole thing mapped out before you write 'em. I came up with the general story, and kinda filled in the jokes as I went. Chapters three and four were the last bits I came up with, since they aren't really integral to the story. I didn't even have a joke for chapter three until I wrote the first two panels. And chapter four started from the sign, "WILL SAVE FOR FOOD", and evolved from there. There are a few things I could have done better, but I'm happy with it, overall.
